Revina

Hi everyone,
About the image:
I had an old character 'revina' and I wanted to improve on it, so I re-edited model and repainted the textures. Original idea was a fantasy samurai girl wielding a long katana. I really wanted to put more in designing on her kimono, with patterns and style that look from a fantasy world.
I loved doing cloth in 3D and to be able to test them on characters, even though I'm not a fashion designer, but I almost feel like one when doing it However I wasn't very good with Maya cloth, so this time I tried to push Maya cloth further by testing a lot of simulation. And eventually I settled on a simulation with a few deformer applied.
I also tried using Maya hair, but I botched up the setup so I end up fixing a lot of it in Photoshop, I have very little experience painting hair. I think I botched up that part as well.
The image was rendered with Mental Ray and their skin shader, that part went pretty smoothly.
I like some comments on her cloth and hair, how I can improve it. What other parts you like or dislike or didn't work.
Thank you.
